Free Parking Period Returns In Tralee For Festive Season

KERRY County Council has announced details of concessions in parking charges over the Christmas period in Tralee.

Each year, the Council provides limited free parking in Tralee, Killarney and Listowel in an effort to encourage people to shop locally and support local businesses in the run up to Christmas.

The parking charge concessions apply in Tralee, Listowel, and Killarney from December 4th to December 31st inclusive with varying arrangements in each of the towns.

In Tralee, there will be free parking in all Council-owned car parks subject to a two-hour limit between 9.30am and 2.00pm each day.

In Listowel, there will be free on-street parking subject to a two-hour limit all day every day with free unlimited parking continuing in all off-street car parks throughout the period.

In Killarney, free parking, subject to a two-hour limit, will be available between 9.30am and 2pm in the Glebe Car Park, Fair Hill Car Park, and the Upper and Lower New Street Car Parks.

A parking charge of €2 per day will apply in the Rock Road Car Park, High Street Car Park and Lewis Road Car Park.
