SAVE the date for a fantastic evening of great food entertainment and cheering on the boys in green as Gally’s Bar and Restaurant will host Rugby World Cup BBQ for Recovery Haven Kerry on September 23.

Ireland will take on South Africa in their Rugby World Cup group match on September 23, and to mark the occasion, the famed hostelry on the Castlemaine Road will host a very special evening in Ena’s to raise funds for the charity.

For just €25, guests will not only get to watch the game on multiple screens in Ena’s, but will also enjoy a pre-match BBQ, pizza at half-time, some super spot prizes and live music after the final whistle.

“Bring your friends, your family, your teammates, your neighbours. This is one that nobody will want to miss,” said Francis Galvin of Gally’s Bar & Restaurant.

“The people of Kerry have always been generous sponsors of this local cancer support charity and will snap up the opportunity to support it, combined with a cracking game of rugby. So don’t delay, get your tickets before they sell out.”

Recovery Haven Kerry’s PR & Marketing officer, Marisa Reidy, also believes the event is going to be a sell-out, given the huge interest in the Rugby World Cup and the massive fan base the Irish team has in Tralee and Kerry.

“We are absolutely delighted that the team at Gally’s have come behind us yet again and we know that they are pulling out all the stops to make this a really fun night to remember,” Marisa said.

“There is a great buzz about Ireland’s chances in this year’s World Cup, and we all know that the South Africa clash will be massive. So, what better way to enjoy it than with a great night out at Gally’s and supporting our charity at the same time. We’d also like to say a huge thanks to our very own rugby star, Ultan Dillane, who took time out of a recent trip home to help us launch the event.”

The fun kicks off at 6pm on September 23rd and tickets can be purchased from Gally’s or Recovery Haven now.
