Gardaí Investigate Break-In And Theft Incidents In Tralee Area

GARDAI in Tralee are investigating separate theft and break-in incidents in the town over the past week.

At around 2am on Tuesday, August 29, a man broke into a camper van parked in the driveway of a house at Lioscarrig Drive.

He was disturbed by the owner of the van and the suspect fled the scene empty-handed. Gardaí are asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious the area at the time to contact them.

In a separate incident, on the same day, the owner of a car in Hollow Close, Oakview Village discovered at 8am that morning that their vehicle had been broken into.

The back window was smashed and a handbag containing cash was taken from the car. Again, Tralee Gardaí are asking anyone with information to contact them at 066-7102300.
