The suspected cannabis seized from a teenager in Cahersiveen.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his late teens and seized approximately €9100 worth of suspected cannabis and counterfeit cash in Caherciveen, on Monday, October 22.
Shortly before 11am, whilst patrolling Main Street in Caherciveen, Gardaí stopped and searched a man. He was found to be in possession of approximately €5000 worth of suspected cannabis (pending analysis) and counterfeit cash to the value of €4100.
He was arrested and brought to Tralee Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. He has since been charged and is due to appear Tralee District Court this morning, 23rd of October 2018 at 10:30am.
