WITH dry weather forecast for Friday morning, there’s a great opportunity to get out and about around the county in aid of the Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The Good Friday walks are a great tradition and on April 7 there will be over 20 walks taking place right around the county.

The 27th Tralee walk is named after the late, great Ted Moynihan and will start at 10am in the usual spot in front of The Grand Hotel.

This route is Denny Street on to James Street, out past Kerins O’Rahillys grounds on to Ballyvelly to Lohercannon, straight on to the white wall and back in to Blennerville Bridge along by the canal bank and back in to the Grand  where there will be refreshments.

Meanwhile, just out the road at The Tankard, the Spa Fenit Branch of the Kerry Hospice will hold the annual Jerry and Mary O’Sullivan Memorial Walk. Getting under way at 10am, this is a 10k scenic route which will take walkers back to The Tankard for refreshments after.

See below for all walks around the county…
