IT’S time to have some fun.

Féile na mBláth at the Park Festival is back this weekend with a full programme of events over the next three days.

There’s a host of free entertainment laid on at the Town Park and surrounding areas, thanks to the support of Kerry County Council/Tralee Municipal District and there’s loads to see and do on the first day.

The opening day coincides with Bloomsday, the traditional celebration of James Joyce’s Ulysses with a day filled with literature, art, jazz and costumed characters kicking off with free workshops for all local Schools from 9.30am to 10.30am and from 11am to 12 noon.

This will culminate with an evening performance of readings and songs from yesteryear entitled ‘Just a Song at Twilight’ taking place in the Kerry Group Marquee from 7pm to 8.30pm.

There’s a food and craft village in the Town Park between 12noon and 6pm today (and all weekend) where there’s loads of tasty treats and great gift ideas.

There’s floral exhibits in the Ballyseedy Home and Garden Marquee during the day and workshops at the Tralee Community Garden in the Town Park between 11am and 1pm.

See the full programme below and make sure to get out and about to enjoy the fun.
