A local day service dedicated to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities, Inspired was originally founded in 2014.  For the first five years Inspired relied solely on the good will of the founding parents and volunteers from the local community.

In 2019, Inspired secured funding from the HSE under Section 39 of the Health Act 2004. The organisation has since achieved remarkable growth and success, serving participants from all over Kerry.

Initiatives in the Bank of Ireland’s Begin Together programme will receive up to €45,000 each for projects spanning financial literacy and wellbeing, mental health, inclusion and diversity.
