SENIOR TOWN CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL
The Semi-Final of the Championship is scheduled for next Saturday January 17th 2015 at 7.00 p.m. in the Mitchels Complex.
The Final is fixed for Sunday January 31st at 2.00 pm in Ballymac.
SENIOR LADIES
The ladies held their end of year award evening on Friday last and took place in Gally’s restaurant. The event marked the 2014 season, a season which saw the team taking part in 83 training sessions and playing over 20 matches.
Guest of Honour on the night was Kerry Senior Ladies player Emma Sherwood. Club Chairman Matt Moloney congratulated the ladies on their achievements in 2014 which culminated with the team winning the Junior B County Championship. He also thanked Emma for taking time out of her busy schedule to attend the event. Emma then presented the ladies with their medals and also presented the individual awards.
The players themselves decided who the award winners would be. Their decision was as follows :
Player of the year – Emma Fitzgibbon,
Player of the future – Patriz Brosnan
Thanks to Gally’s who provided a delicious meal on the night.
Training resumes on Saturday 31st January from 7pm to 8 pm (under lights).
The first round of the County League Is fixed for the 15th February.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Shane O’Connor who made his Kerry senior debut on Sunday last in the McGrath Cup when Kerry played against the Institute of Technology Tralee. Fellow club player George Bastible lined out with the ITT on the day.

Our Bingo continues on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights. Bingo is a vital fundraiser for the Club and all funds raised from the Bingo goes directly back into the Club and all support is greatly appreciated.
