Membership of John Mitchels for 2016 is now open.
2016 Membership fees are as follows:
Patron membership €150 ( this includes adult membership, entry to the weekly lotto and free admission to all County League games which can be paid by direct debit),
Adult membership €40,
Students/O.A.P €20,
Juvenile boys and girls €20.
Club Registrar George Lowe will be available to collect membership between 7pm and 8pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings in Ballyseedy Complex. Alternatively George can be contacted on 087 2743161 or at lowegeorge43@yahoo.com.
There will be separate Juvenile Registration days in the coming weeks, details of which will be announced in the next few weeks.

U16 North Kerry League:

U14 Ladies Co League:
Following a County Board meeting last Wednesday evening in Killarney, a number of structure changes to Co League divisions at Senior, U16 and U14 level.
Our U14s will now be in Division 3 with full listings and more updates on Co League to follow next week.
U14 Ladies Feile 2016:
A very important meeting for parents of U14 girls will take place on Tuesday February 9th at 7.30 pm in our Complex in Ballyseedy. It is very important that a parant for each player is present in order that full details can be given out.
Feile is an International competition and comes to Kerry for the first time since 1994 and it will be the very first time that our girls will be competing in this tournament.
U12 Ladies Co League:
Preliminary grading round starts April 5 th. Fixtures to follow but at the moment looks like same groups as 2015.

Cross over semi final in Cup and Shield Competitions between 2A and 2B
SUNDAY MORNING CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE:
Juvenile training for 2016 began on Sunday last in John Mitchels Centre of Excellence, Camp, Ballyseedy. There were four different training sessions and all were very well attended.
We welcomed back the boys and girls who attended the FundaMitchels programme last October, all were very eager and signed up to become part of the John Mitchels family.
U-6 Boys and Girls:
This group had a great morning where the emphasis was on having fun while learning the basic football skills was top of the agenda.
Ryan Buckley, Rory Bowler, Aisling Kelliher, Keelin Dennehy, Ruby Foley, Shane Roche, Amberleigh O’Mahony, Donnagh Foley, Michelle Kandharsingh, Finnion O’Callaghan, Ella Dennehy, Calvin O’Sullivan, Grace Moloney, Adam Morrison, Hannah Roche, Adam Purtill, Donnchadh Noonan, Aaron McElligott, Fia McElligott and Mathais Panxhi were some of the boys and girls who attended training.
Indoor training continues on Sunday next from 11.00 p.m. to 12.00 noon in our sports hall. (boys and girls born in 2010, 2011 & 2012).
U-8 Boys
This group had a fantastic morning. The coaches Mike, Paul, James, Mark, Johnny, Sean and George were very impressed with the skills that these boys had developed and could tell that the boys hadn’t stopped practicing the skills of the game over the winter months.
Cillian Donovan, Evan Lyons, Aaron Guerin, Justin Jahimaa, Robbie McEvoy, Eanna Ryle, Jack Conway and Gearoid White were some of the players who caught the eye of the trainers.
Indoor training for this age group continues on Sunday next from 10.00 am to 11.00 am (boys born in 2008 & 2009).
U-10 Boys
Despite the adverse weather conditions, this team took to the Astro Turf pitch and trained outdoors. This was a great session with all the team giving it their all.
Players to impress included, Reece Long, Mark O’Connor, Joe Laucher, Andrew Kerins, Adam Bowler, Jack O’Donoghue, Gerard O’Shea and Daithi Smullen. Training for this age group continues on Sunday next from 10.30 to 11.30 a.m. (boys born in 2006 & 2007).
Please bring gum shields, football boots and runners as if the weather permits training will take place on the Astro turf pitch.
U-8 & U-10 Girls
The ladies also returned to training on Sunday last. This team concentrated on the passing skills of the game and all the team tried very hard, Amber Long, Lily Collins, Megan Noonan, Lucie O’Donoghue, Alannah Cunnane, Kaydance O’Mahony, Aoife Kelliher and Brid O’Shea were some of the girls that attended.
Training for this age group continues on Sunday next at 10.00 in the club sports hall.
