Seniors: The poor weather over the week end put paid to our final fixture in the Tralee town board league with the Ballymac pitch being unplayable; while the final was fixed for next weekend the likelihood is that the postponed fixture from this week end will go ahead next Sunday 5th March with the final in all  probability going ahead on the week end of the 10th March- fixtures as they are confirmed will be posted on our facebook page.

Minors: The weather was again the spoilsport with our game vs Na Gaeil being postponed as our pitch was unplayable; this will be re fixed for a later date. We kick off our county league campaign with a home game next Sunday in Ballyrickard when we entertain Kilgarvan/Tuosist/Templenoe with throw in at 12 noon. Again, fixtures are subject to change so keep an eye on our facebook page.

Junior Blues: A very successful registration day was held in the clubhouse on Sat with large numbers turning up to pay their fee for the year. It was most encouraging to see the numbers who had pre ordered their gear for the year ahead. If you have still to pay your membership please make sure you get in touch with any of your team mentors who will be able to assist you with same.

Kerry Seniors: Disappointingly, we failed to cope with Monaghan’s challenge last Sunday in Killarney with the Farney men coming out victorious, deservedly so. on a one point winning margin. There were no stand out performers in the green and gold but David ( Moran)  with an outstanding goal, Jack ( Savage) & Barry John ( Keane) did their utmost to stem the tide. Players and supporters will make the long journey this coming Sunday (5th March) to Roscommon in what is now looking like a must win game to maintain any further interest in the latter stages of the league.

Corn Uí Mhuirí: Tralee CBS came unstuck on Sat last when succumbing to a stronger St Brendans outfit in this year’s final played in Austin Stack Park. Hard luck to Shane Foley, Tom Hoare and Aaron Roche who all played their part.

Strictly Come Dancing: There has been much talk and excitement since our launch last week with tickets selling very quickly for the event on 25th March. Admission is by ticket only so please ensure you have yours in good time to avoid disappointment. You can participate in a raffle for two tickets just by visiting our facebook page- congrats to Philomena Moriarty who was our first winner last week of a pair of tickets.

Club Lotto: Our lotto jackpot of €6,300 was not won on Monday night last ( 20th Feb) where the winning numbers were: 4, 20, 21 & 26. Trevor Thomas managed to match 3 numbers and wins €25. The jackpot this week will increase to €6,400 so why not get your ticket early for your chance to win or share in this great prize?
