THE Kerry ladies football team will defend their Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 title in the final this Sunday.

Armagh provide the opposition at Croke Park in the game which has a 3pm throw in time. Tickets for the match can be purchased by clicking here.

Presentation Students To Host Cyber Security Information Event For Older People

PRESENTATION Secondary School Tralee will host a special coffee morning at the school next week.

With the recent surge in scams targeting the elderly in Ireland, the Microsoft Dream Space Ambassadors at the school will host an informal coffee morning – ‘Tea and Tech’ for any older, wise learners in the local community who would like to know more about Cyber Security and how to spot fraudulent phone calls, text messages and emails.

Events Postponed Due To Storm Kathleen

TWO events due to take place tomorrow have been postponed due to the Status Orange weather warning as Storm Kathleen approaches.

The ERP Electrical Recycling Drop Off Day at Tralee Mart scheduled for Saturday has been called off. ERP Ireland will reschedule the event again later in the year.

Also, the Stacks Mountain Half Marathon and 10k Race which was due to take place on Saturday morning in Kilflynn has also been postponed due to the weather. It will now take place on Saturday, April 20.

The Status Orange wind warning will be in place for Kerry from 7am to 2pm on Saturday.

Tralee Tidy Towns Invites Volunteers For Clean-Up Next Tuesday

TRALEE Tidy Towns is inviting volunteers to join them for their County Clean-Up event next Tuesday evening.

With many County Clean-Up events around the county postponed this weekend due to Storm Kathleen, the local group is holding their clean-up on April 9 at 6pm gathering at the Lidl Car Park.

Tralee Lions Club will join forces with Team Bramble and Tralee Tidy Towns, for the clean-up but all are welcome to join them.

Gloves, high viz vests, litter pickers and bags will be provided for the event. Any queries to tidytownstralee@gmail.com

St Pats GAA Club Dingle Way Challenge Returns This June

THE annual St Pat’s GAA Club Dingle Way Challenge will return this year and whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a first-timer looking for a challenge, it promises to be an unforgettable journey through the rugged beauty of the West Kerry peninsula.

It takes place on Sunday, June 2nd and it’s always a fantastic, healthy day out with wonderful scenery and great company.

The allure of the 2024 Dingle Way Challenge lies in the diverse landscapes of the route starting at Coumeenole, through the town of Dingle and finishing at Lispole for the Standard Route (31Km) and if that’s not enough the Ultra Route continues to finish at Annascaul (42Km).

At the end of the day’s walking all walkers are invited to relax in the grounds of St. Pat’s GAA Club in Blennerville where a barbeque and music will be provided by the Club.
