Senior Football

All roads will lead to Austin Stack Park on Saturday evening next the 23rd when we get our Co Championship campaign off to a start.

Our game is the second of a double header and we play Rathmore at 7pm. Best of luck to the team and management.

Junior Leagues

We got off to a good start in the Junior Leagues with both our teams coming out winners at the weekend. Strand Road put in a very solid performance against John Mitchels on Friday last with very promising performances all over the field.

The final score there was Strand Road 3-13 John Mitchels 1-08. Charlie Kerins made the trip to St Senans on Sunday where the final score was Charlie Kerins 4-10 St Senans 3-02.

Their next games are on Friday next when Strand Road are down to play Laune Rangers B and Charlie Kerins are down to play Castlegregory.

Both are home games and fixed for 7.30. They are subject to change so keep and eye on Facebook and Twitter for updates.

Juveniles

U6, U8, U10s Outdoor training for these age groups continues on Saturdays for boys and girls at 11am in Healy Park Ballyrickard. All welcome.

All of our Saturday coaches are fully qualified and the Saturday coaching sessions promise fun with all of the skills thrown in. Registration continues for all age groups. Please register if you haven’t done so. Thank you.

U10 Girls Our U10 girls travel to Abbeydorney on Thursday 21st to play a game out there. The game is a 6.30pm.

Mouthguards-gumshields are compulsory for all ages. We have boil and bite flavoured mouth guards for sale on Saturday mornings. They retail at €5 each.

U12Boys Training U12 Boys training will take place in Healy Park Ballyrickard on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5.30 to 6.30pm.

Ladies Football

U12 Girls train in Healy Park Ballyrickard on and Thursday from 6.30 to 7.30 with Jason and Norma. Contact Jason on 0862530484 for details.

The U12 Girls play Kilcummin in the first round of the Glebe Kitchens Co League on this Thursday 21st at 6.45 in Kilcummin.

U14 Girls The U14 girls are training in Healy Park Ballyrickard on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30 to 7.30 with Robert, Eddie, Mark and Aishling.

U16 Girls The U16 girls are training in Ballyrickard on Mondays from 6pm to 7.30pm with David and Ruth. Contact David on 0861630458 for further details.

Junior Ladies are currently doing “Aerobics for fitness” with Naomi. Next session will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm in the club. New faces always welcome. Great way to make new friends and reconnect with old ones.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Paddy White on his recent winning of Castleisland’s “Strictly Come Dancing”. A man of many talents.

Congratulations to all of our members who have celebrated or are celebrating their Confirmations and First Holy Communions around this time.

Lotto

The Lotto takes place in Charlie’s Bar every Monday.  The Lotto results for Monday the 11th May were 7, 8, 20 and 22.

There was no jackpot winner. The next jackpot will be €3,300. There was 1 match 3 winner. That was Michael Kerins Cockleshell Road. The 5 entrants for the December Draw 2015 were Tommy O’Connor Kerins Park, Edna Houlihan c/o Ann, Terry Healy DD, Helen O’Connor DD and Nora Sheehy DD.

To play the Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto, four numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins the Jackpot. Match three numbers to win €25. Tickets cost €2 each. The Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto can also be played online at www.korgaa.com

Lotto Sellers The club needs lotto ticket sellers. It can be worth your while. If you are interested contact any member of the Senior Committee.

Cards

Whist drive is back in the Club on Thursday nights. Join in from 8.30 on.

Pilates Classes

Do you want to improve your flexibility? Do you suffer from back, neck or hip pain? Do you want to improve your strength and tone up?

Well look no further “Pilates Classes” have arrived at Kerins O’Rahillys. Mondays 7-8 are for men only, Fitness and Flexibility is at 8.15 to 9.15.

Tuesday evening Pregnancy classes at 6pm-6.45 and Pilates for Fitness at 7pm-8. Contact Izabela on 087 765 0125 for further details.

Weightwatchers

Weightwatchers classes take place in the Healy Room at the Kerins O’Rahillys clubhouse every Thursday. The new Summer times are times are 9.30am and 12.30pm. Contact Helen for details on 0879504232. All welcome.

Charlie’s Bar

Club Lotto on takes place in the bar every Monday night with a special in house raffle if you are present so why not pop along. Why not treat yourself to lunch in Charlie’s. There’s something to please everyone.

The Active Retired Coffee Morning Group meets every Tuesday morning in Charlie’s. Come along and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends. All welcome. “Dance for Fun” i0s back on Wednesday nights. All welcome.

We have many different size function rooms and cater to all types of functions. Contact Tom or Eileen or any member of staff at 7124956 if you have any queries.
