Seasons Greetings:

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas and best wishes for 2024.

Christmas came early for GAA clubs last week with the announcement that JP McManus had donated €1M to each county board for distribution to clubs within their counties.

Fundraising has, and will always be a challenge, but this magnanimous gesture will see the club benefit to the tune of approx €10k – the club is most grateful for this donation.

Lotto:

This week’s jackpot ( 18th Dec) will be for a jackpot of €10,100 – you can play at the usual outlets or online @ Kerins O’Rahillys GAA Club – Clubforce; the cut off time for Monday’s draw is 4 pm online.

The Christmas lotto draw will take place on Saturday 23rd in the Klub @ 5 pm – online deadline is 2pm ( Sat)

NÓTAÍ NA mBAN:

Now that we’re in the festive season it’s a time to reflect on a very enjoyable 2023. It has been a phenomenal year for us fielding teams from U12s up to seniors.

Our ladies section of the club continued to blossom this year and we have new players already enquiring about joining in 2024. The increase in girls playing football and enjoying themselves demonstrates the values of our club.

Congratulations to all of our players on a great year. They took part in competitions, challenge matches and blitzes. All teams competed well with many making finals. Some were victorious, some not but it’s not all about the winning. It’s about the girls enjoying their football and making lifelong friends.

Every team brought great pride to Kerins O’ Rahillys Club.

Thanks so much to our coaches, admin and of course to the parents and families for their wonderful support.

As 2023 draws to a close we would like to take this opportunity to wish our players, coaches , brilliant supporters and our community a happy and peaceful Christmas . A sincere thank you to everyone who has helped and supported our ladies in any way during the year.

Best wishes also to everyone who is abroad. We are also thinking of those who have passed away and of their families and friends.

2024 will be a year for more opportunities on and off the pitch. We wish all of our players and mentors the best of luck in the year ahead. Enjoy the downtime!

Go dtí go mbuailfimid le chéile arís..
