Kerry and Kerins O’Rahilly’s players Cormac Coffey, Tommy Walsh, David Moran and Barry John Keane promoting the club’s ‘Masters Challenge’ competition.

THINK you know your golf?

Well the Kerins O’Rahilly’s ‘Masters Challenge’ is back again this year with a first prize of €500 for the winner.

Now in its third year, the competition has proved a very successful way of generating funds for the club.

Past winners who collected the cash are Mossie Kelly in 2013 and Dan Foley last year.

The club’s Kerry stars, Cormac Coffey (U21s), Tommy Walsh, David Moran and Barry John Keane, lent their support to the competition before last week’s league match in Finuge.

Participants pick the six golfers they think will do the best in the US Masters – from the list of professionals on the card – and put the players numbers on a line (see the photos below for more details on how to enter). Each line costs €10 and you can do up to five lines on a card.

First prize is €500, second place gets €150 and third receives €100.

Entry cards can be got from the Kerins O’Rahilly’s clubhouse (call 066-7124956), club officials or players and must be returned by 6pm on Wednesday, April 8.

The US Masters begins on Thursday, April 9 and participants can keep up to date with how they’re doing at the Kerins O’Rahilly’s clubhouse or on a Facebook page (details of which will be announced later).
