WELL it was a bit less that the $3.2m Jon Rahm picked up for winning the US Masters, but a local man was still happy to collect top prize in a Kerins O’Rahillys GAA Club fundraiser.

It was the 11th time the club held their US Masters Challenge and this year was the most successful to date with 1,260 lines sold (each line was €10 with subsequent lines on a card €5 extra).

A tremendous effort went into selling the lines with all at the club getting behind the fundraiser. In the end Seán Duggan’s choices of six golfers gained him the most points to win the competition and the €750 prize.

Next came Jordan Foley who won €150 with Ger Moran in third place taking home €100. The club wished to thank everyone involved in making the Challenge such a huge success.
