Kilflynn School Gets Grant To Build New Rooms

Kilflynn Logo2-3SCOIL Treasa Naofa, Kilflynn, has been added to the list of approvals for the additional accommodation grant.

The Kilflynn school has been approved for funding to construct one 80m2 mainstream classroom and one 20m2 staff room.

“This funding is welcome as it will create a better learning environment for the students and staff of the school,” said Deputy Arthur Spring, welcoming the news.

“This is further good news for education in the county, following on the mid-week announcement by Labour Minister Jan O’Sullivan that nine major school investment projects in Kerry were given the green light in the new School Buildings Plan.”
