WATCH: Kilflynn School Takes Up The Mannequin Challenge

THE pupils and staff of St. Teresa’s National School in Kilflynn are the latest to get in on the Mannequin Challenge fad and they’ve done a great job.

Pupils, teachers, principal, parents, grandparents and members of the community gathered in the school to make time stand still together.

The whole school community attempted to capture everything that epitomises Kilflynn in a moment frozen in time. Every day activities such as lining up, reading stories, playing maths games, handwriting, science experiments and general fun and frolics can be seen throughout the school.

“We have a school steeped in a tradition of Irish music and hurling, hugely supported by our local club Crotta GAA and surrounding community,” said Tina O’Connell, second class teacher. “Family plays an integral role in our school, and this resonated throughout our Mannequin Challenge. Parents and grandparents of our knitting club eagerly accepted the challenge without hesitation,” said Tina, who thanked all involved, including Mike Parker. Watch the video below…
