Speaking after the event, the co-chair of this year’s festival, Sabrina Crotty, said; “We are honoured to have even received the nomination and were blown away to have been given this award. We are so grateful to all of our sponsors, partners, performers and to everyone who came along to our events this year.”

“The support we were given this year was incredible, and it just goes to show the importance of Pride events for people all around the country. We’re only in our third year, but already we’re Ireland’s biggest little Pride”.

The Kingdom Pride in Kerry festival held over 35 events across the county over the course of seven days this July, and included musical performances, art, workshops, family-friendly events, and health and wellness activities.

Plans are already underway for next year’s celebrations which will be taking place from the 15th to the 21st of July, 2024.

The committee will be holding an AGM in November, and welcome new people to get involved.
