THIS week the GAA’s Cúl Camp came to Connolly Park this week bringing with it a Kerry star.
Overall 110 boys and girls will be taking part in the camp which ran all the way through to Friday.
“It’s been a very big camp with a massive interest in football,” said camp coordinator Amy Foley.

“We were told it was going to be a big camp, but we didn’t think it would hit over 100, it’s up there as one of the biggest in the county,” said Amy Foley.
On Wednesday, Kieran Donaghy, visited the camp which was a real treat for all of the kids.
“He came in, played games with them and also thought them about nutrition and what they should be eating. They loved it, the kids were in awe of him the minute he came in, even though he is their own club man they were all delighted to see him.
“He signed autographs from the minute he came in yesterday morning until yesterday evening, his enthusiasm was top notch,” she said.
