THE motorcyclist who died in a road accident near Ballyheigue on Sunday evening has been named locally.
Aidan Kennelly, of Heirhill, Ballyheigue who was in his early 30s, died in the single vehicle crash at around 6.45pm.
Gardaí say it appears the deceased lost control of his motorcycle and crashed at a grotto just outside the village.
