The Mercy Mounthawk team who were successful yesterday in Dublin.
MERCY Secondary School Mounthawk’s LEGO League robotics team (Mounthawk Masterminds) has won prizes at the Lego League National competition this weekend.
The team showcased their project at the final event on Saturday in Dublin where they competed against other top teams from around the country.
Their project focused on renewable energy and they presented a unique idea of a “Hybrid Solar-biomass Microgrid System” for their school.
It was an amazing day for the team who were declared Robot Design winners an Robot knock out competition winners. The team has now qualified for Internationals in either California or Marrakesh in May.
