MINISTER for Education and Kerry T.D. Norma Foley today announced initial project approval for a significant building project for C.B.S Primary School, Tralee.
This bespoke project will provide for an additional four mainstream classrooms to be added to the existing campus at Clounalour in Tralee.
The project brief places a particular emphasis on inclusive education and will deliver 10 additional rooms dedicated to the provision of special education.

The school has received initial project approval and a design team and project manager has been designated from the Department’s modular framework, to design and tender the project.
Minister Foley said: “This exciting new development is an endorsement of the school community at C.B.S Tralee for their tireless commitment, passion and endeavour to educating the young people of Tralee and surrounding areas. This important project will meet the needs of the students while also investing in the provision of state –of-the-art special education facilities.
“I look forward to seeing this project progress in a timely fashion and seeing the benefits this new accommodation will bring to Tralee for the coming school year,” added the Minister.
