No Additional COVID Cases In Kerry, 371 Reported Nationally This Evening

THERE were no new cases of COVID-19 reported for Kerry at the NPHET briefing this evening.

There were 24 additional deaths and 371 more cases reported nationally. 12 deaths occurred in March, 10 in February and 2 in January. The median age of those who died was 82 years and the age range was 49 – 100 years.

The 14 day incidence of new cases for Kerry is 47.4 per 100,000 people. There have been 70 cases reported in the same period and the rolling five day average of cases is 3.

Kerry is the county with the third lowest incidence of cases in the past 14 days (after Kilkenny and Leitrim). The national incidence rate over the past 14 days is 158.3.

151 in Dublin, 31 in Offaly, 27 in Donegal, 25 in Galway, 21 in Meath and the remaining 116 cases are spread across 16 other counties.

There have now been 231,484 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland and 4,610 people who died with the virus since the start of the pandemic.

As of 8am today, 357 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 76 are in ICU. There have been 25 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.

As of last Saturday (20 March), there have been 675,946 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Ireland:
• 492,106 people have received their first dose
• 183,840 people have received their second dose

    Surely the Irish people have to wake up from being woke and see that the cure is worse than the disease and the public sector pay is on overtime and jobs for life. Gone are the days of Garda, Teachers and any other public job employee being priced out of the property market due this this situation.

    It is only science if you question, if you are not allowed question you are dealing with an ideology.
    Herd immunity is achieved between 70% and 85% of the population, so why let no one behind, why target children?
