Cloudy sunnyIT’S set to be a mainly dry weekend in Kerry, but cloud will be a feature according to Met Eireann and the weather websites.

Of course, this is all a prelude to to magnificent weather we’re being promised for Monday and Tuesday.

This afternoon should be dry before rain threatens in the evening with highest temperatures today between 17 to 20 degrees in fresh westerly winds.

The weather will clear most places overnight and the cloud will break up. Lowest temperatures of 10 or 11 degrees. Some fog patches developing towards dawn.

Saturday will be mainly dry (just the odd light passing shower), rather cloudy overall but with some sunshine at times. Highest temperatures of 18 or 19 degrees in light westerly breezes.

Sunday will see things improve with dry weather and sunny spells and temperatures touching the 20s, before Monday and Tuesday bring glorious sunshine and temperatures hitting the mid 20s. It’s back to rain on Wednesday, but it should be fun while it lasts.
