DINGLE Distillery International Film Festival is hosting special screening of Oscar-winning ‘Adaptation’ in the Blasket Centre with one of its stars in attendance.
Oscar winning Hollywood actor Chris Cooper will be in conversation with internationally renowned casting director Ros Hubbard at the event this Friday, August 18.
The event will include the screening of the short film ‘Nuts’ and feature film ‘Adaptation’ for which Chris won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor 20 years ago. After the screening, Chris and his wife Marianne will discuss the films and other work.

Tea, freshly made scones and locally produced organic honey will be available before the screenings as part of the event.
Chris Cooper has starred in films including American Beauty, October Sky, The Bourne Identity, Seabiscuit, Capote amongst many others.
