THE Government has announced €1,423,000 in funding for Kerry Airport under the Regional Airports Programme 2021-2025.
This provides targeted support for vital safety and security operations at regional airports such as air traffic control, fire services and security, ensuring airports can continue to remain compliant with regulatory requirements in these areas.
Funding this year to regional airports (Kerry, Donegal, Ireland West and Shannon airports) will total over €11 million.

Minister for Education and Kerry T.D, Norma Foley welcomed the funding which will deliver further vital financial supports to Kerry Airport.
“With a particular focus on safety, security operations and air traffic control, this funding reinforces the importance and value that Government places on the vital role of our regional airports and how connectivity directly supports tourism and enterprise in Kerry,” said Minister Foley.
