WELL-KNOWN fashion store Paco, located on The Mall, was packed on Friday morning as they hosted a coffee morning for a great cause.

Members of the MS Society Tralee/West Kerry Branch were on hand serving teas, coffees and treats in return for a donation while everyone who gave was entered into a draw for spot prizes.

The event coincided with the reopening of the newly refurbished outlet, which had been closed for nearly two weeks due to a redesign.

Manager Eileen Whelan has been holding instore charity events for various causes over the years, but wanted the first one in the new-look store to be for the local MS charity.

“A good friend of mine Audrey Moran has MS so we started raising money for the local branch of MS about eight years ago when I started here in Paco. All the money raised here funds their pilates and exercise classes which it vital for people with MS.”

“We’re delighted with how the store has turned out, but more so to see progress in the town and it’s a positive, good news story for Tralee,” added Eileen.
