AMAZINGLY, the rainclouds stayed away (despite the forecast) and dry weather prevailed allowing for the most successful Tralee Food Festival to date in town on Saturday.

The Taste Trail was a massive success with many of the 26 venues sold out of stock by 2.30pm while the Mall saw big crowds throughout the afternoon for the live music to enjoy while eating lunches al fresco.

The Square Market was also packed with people all afternoon enjoying music and delicious food from the stalls. Later that evening the bars and restaurants enjoyed a roaring trade with special menus and bespoke drinks delighting diners.

Sunday sees a special family fun day in the Bank Of Ireland car park from 2pm so get down and enjoy the finale. Scroll down for photos…
