THE Ballyroe Heights Hotel was the setting for a great celebration on Saturday night as Causeway GAA Club marked a wonderful 2022.
Around 160 of the club faithful were present for a night of fine food, entertainment and the business of awards for the achievements of the past year.
Club PRO, Fiona Flynn, said it was a great occasion for all involved in Causeway GAA to get together to celebrate a momentous year.

“We’ve a great crowd here. Medals for the county champions will be presented, we’re also acknowledging the 40th anniversary of out four in a row championship winning team, as well as a Hall of Fame award for Maurice Leahy.
“Maurice has done marvellous work for the club over the years. He is a great ambassador for Causeway GAA. The advice, coaching and commitment to the club has been invaluable and he is a worthy recipient of the award,” said Fiona.
Awards were also presented to members of the club involved in MTU’s Ryan Cup victory, namely players Joe Diggins and Dan O’Mahony, manager Tadhg Flynn and games development officer Eamon Fitzgerald.
Guests enjoyed a great meal followed by the awards ceremony, while Heart and Soul provided the music on a fantastic night for Causeway GAA. Scroll down for photos…
