THE heady days of Horans and Spirals were recalled at The Rose Hotel on Friday night as revellers went back to the 80s.
Out came the leg-warmers, bandanas and colourful ‘fashions’ as the sounds of Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Wham!, Bananarama and more filled the Lee Suite resulting in those present invading the dancefloor.
The night was the brainchild of members of the CBS The Green Parents Council, two of whom had attended a similar event earlier this year.

They saw how much fun and, more importantly, how successful it was and so decided to organise their own fundraiser to help with general costs associated with the school.
They were delighted with the response from parents selling 350 tickets in advance, with more turning up to pay in on the night.
DJ Sean Crowley knew which buttons to press to keep the crowds on the dance floor, while there was also finger food and a door prize on a night to bring back memories of a bygone era. Scroll down for photos…
