IT was a chilly November night, but that didn’t deter many hundreds of people from converging on Denny Street to watch the National Circus Festival of Ireland parade and fireworks display.
It was the first of two parades this weekend and there was a great family atmosphere enjoying the post-Halloween entertainment. DJ Chris Shortt played some party tunes to get the masses going while they waited for the main event.
The parade itself was short and sweet with colourful performers, one of whom kept the crowd warm with sporadic bursts of flames from their float.

After they made their way to the top of Denny Street a spectacular fireworks display followed and didn’t disappooint.
