THE Sports and societies clubs of IT Tralee, came together to present awards and recognise the achievements of all the different clubs.

Along the player of the year for the sports teams, citations were also handed out for those that gave up their time to volunteer and fundraise over the course of the college year.

The player of the year awards were decided by public vote online, after team management from each sport picked three nominees.

The winner of IT Tralee senior footballer of the year was, Jack Savage. He beat off competition from his Kerry U21 compatriot, Conor Keane, to win the award.

Shane Lynch won the senior hurling top prize. In ladies football, the winner was Darina Keane while in camogie, Kate Harrington won out.

The winner of best society was, the St. Vincent DePaul society.

There were ten awards given out in the societies section of the awards, which decided through a panel of interviews.
