Kerry Winner In ShelfLife National Grocery Management Awards

THERE was a Kerry winner in the prestigious annual ShelfLife Grocery Management Awards held this week.

Gary Moriarty of Value Centre Listowel, was named Cash and Carry Manager of the Year at the one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Irish retail calendar.

The National Grocery Management Awards is Ireland’s premier scheme for recognising and honouring management excellence.

To win a Shelflife Management award is a high point in the career of many of Ireland’s best performing managers from across a variety of categories and at various levels of career progression and the event is also the principal networking event for managers from across all wholesale brands to gather with colleagues, business partners, suppliers and friends.

The awards were held in Dublin’s Royal Marine Hotel on Wednesday, with 350 guests in attendance. 23 awards were presented, honouring the best in the many departments that make up local convenience stores and supermarkets.
