JUST typical, isn’t it?
We get a mini-heatwave, just in time for back-to-school, depriving the children of the beach time they couldn’t avail of during the miserable weather we endured during July and August.
However, the mood was buoyant when we visited St Brendan’s NS in Blennerville on Friday morning. Perhaps the new junior infants sensed the weekend has arrived.
Teacher Ms Edel O’Sullivan and SNA Denise Shanahan have the juniors well settled in by now, after almost completing their first full week, and they were all smiles for the camera. Scroll down for photos…
