WHILE junior infants entered the classrooms for the first time at Listellick National School this week, they’ll have to get used to new surroundings again later in the year.
This is the last time a set of new arrivals are starting their education at the old school on the hill as, all going well, the pupils will be moving across the road to the brand new school building in December once construction is completed.
Principal Annette Dineen said it was a nostalgic occasion, but they all can’t wait for the move. All the children settled in well and are already enjoying making new friends. Scroll down for photos…
