EXCITEMENT abounded at Listellick NS on Thursday morning as parents brought their children to begin their schooldays.
Teacher Ashley Reynolds said everything went very smoothly, with no tears shed and children settled in very quickly and comfortably with their new friends.
However, they may not be too long in their current surroundings, as work started earlier this month on the new school which will be located across the road at the top of the hill.
All going well, they’ll be in a brand new building during their time in senior infants. Scroll down for photos…
