THERE was a real family feel to the activities at the sports grounds at IT Tralee on Saturday as Woodies DIY Tralee hosted a soccer tournament.

There was a great turnout with 15 teams playing for the Charity Cup and Shield.

It was all part of Woodies Tralee’s fundraising efforts in aid of Make-A-Wish; Temple Street; Jack and Jill and Act for Meningitis.

It’s part of  a national campaign, and over the last two years, Woodie’s Ireland have raised over €400,000 for Children’s Charities. The Tralee store has raised over €11,000 in the two years.
