IRELAND South MEP Deirdre Clune has praised students and teachers from Spa National School after a visit to the school this week.
Ms Clune visited the school on Monday to speak to the students about her role as an MEP.
The pupils of 6th Class are currently taking part in the Blue Star Programme, which is a primary school initiative that aims to foster better knowledge and understanding of the European Union and how it affects our lives.
Ms Clune was also in town to visit the ITT and Kerry Technology Park where she met representatives from the various companies situated there.
