LAST year’s Donal Walsh Spa NS 6k Challenge was another huge success and raised thousands of euro for a great cause.
Fionnbar and Elma Walsh of the Donal Walsh LiveLife Foundation were at the school on Tuesday to accept a cheque for €4,000 raised at the May 2023 event.
“It was a huge success and the event keeps growing year on year,” said Principal Peter Linehan. “It’s a wonderful family day for all the community getting out the livelife message which Donal espoused. We’re delighted to be able to give this money to the LiveLife Foundation.”

The event brought together the local community and beyond for a wonderful family day of entertainment, the highlight of which it the 6k run/walk.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday, May 26 and will feature stalls, food, family entertainment and much more.
