THE Christmas season is truly upon us after a fantastic Saturday in town with music, dancing and dazzling lights.
The Square was absolutely packed for two Santa Claus shows at 2.30pm and 4.30pm, the opening act for the main event — the switching on of the Christmas lights.
Brian Hurley, as usual, provided super entertainment before Tralee Chamber President Stephen Stack and Mayor of Tralee Johnnie Wall brought special guest Mary Kerins from Ballinorig on to the stage to perform the honour of pulling the lever to officially kick off the festive season.

Mayor Wall said Tralee is a special place to visit over the next month with loads of entertainment every weekend for all the family.
