TWO Kerry minors paid a quick visit to their old alma mater this week with a few trophies in hand of course, to the obvious delight of staff and pupils.
Footballer Mícheál Reidy and hurler Tomás O’Connor stopped off in their former stomping ground of O’Brennan NS in Kielduff with the All-Ireland trophies they won in their respective sports in the past couple of months.
The two talented sportsmen happily posed for photos with the staff and pupils while allowing students to eagerly examine the trophies.
With the abundance of sporting talent in schools throughout Kerry, it mightn’t be too long before we see some of these pupils returning with those trophies some day.
