Places Filling Up Fast For Féile Family Camps At Pearse Park

THE Irish Feis Dancing competition is in full swing at the moment in Pearse Park with hundreds of dancers competing and families from all over the country staying in town.

However, there’s still much more to look forward to after the dancing finishes on Saturday evening. Sunday will see the start of the Féile Family Camps at the Park and places are filling up fast.

The camps will continue until Wednesday and with the weather set to improve, it’s an ideal place to bring the kids for a few hours.

There’ll be puppet shows, discos, circus workshops, Kingdom Party Pals and much more to entertain younger and older children. The Sunday camps are already booked out but there’s still availability for Monday to Wednesday camps.

Families can book in pods of up to 4 or up to 6 people and redeem the ticket cost onsite with vendors.

The ‘Morning Family Camps’ will see three hours of fun with shows for the younger families, friends and campers  along with their Static Stilter, the Covid Cops & Food Stalls

• 10am-Kids Party Club – Puppet Show followed   by Static Disco!

• 10.45am – Kingdom Party Pals – Join   Minnie & Mickey, Sky & Chase (Paw Patrol), Winnie & Tigger, Peppa   Pig & Sofia the First, Poppy & Diamond (The Trolls), LOL Doll &   Minion Bob, Shimmer & Shine and Woodie & Spiderman (Four Characters   Daily)

• 11.30am Mals Circus Show & Workshops –   Learn how to run away with the Circus!

• 12.15pm Drum Circle Show & Workshops – Learn how to get kicked out of home!

Activities vary daily and suitable for younger kids, their families and grandparents. Children must be accompanied by 1 Adult (Age 18 +).

The ‘TeatimeFamily Camps’ from 2pm to 5pm sees fun and shows for the older families.

• 2.15pm Mals Circus Show & Workshops –   Learn how to run away with the Circus!

• 3pm Drum Circle Show & Workshops – Learn how to get kicked out of home!

• 4.15pm The Fanzini Brother – Street Theatre Show with Con (22nd & 23rd) with Den (24th & 25th)

Activities vary daily and suitable for older kids, families and friends and again children must be accompanied by 1 Adult (Age 18 +).
