AN Austin Stacks side beat the best Munster had to offer at the weekend in an Under 15 blitz in Mallow.
After qualifying comfortably from their Kerry group two weeks ago, an Austin Stacks Under 15 side headed to the Munster finals in Mallow’s Centre of Excellence on Saturday.

The Rockies beat Eire Og from Ennis and the hosts Mallow fairly comfortably, before going on to face Galbally of Limerick in the semi-finals.
Despite facing a physically bigger team, the boys in black’n’amber gave their best and came away with a three point win.
This was to be the toughest test of the day, as the final was never in doubt against Dohenys of Dunmanway. Once Stacks went in front, they stayed there and ended up victorious with the final score; Austin Stacks 2-8 Dohenys 0-6.
Another Munster title then for the Rockies in a glorious 12 months for the club.
