It was another fantastic weekend of KABB Finals in Pres Gym Killarney and St. Brendan’s added to the Boys Academy Cup win last week with three more titles for this season’s collection.
Firstly the Boys U16 Div 3 side won the Plate competition with a 39-32 win over TK Cougars.

Next up in was the U16 Div 1 team that continued their winning streak with victory over TK Cougars by 63-39 in the Cup final. And the Senior Men Div 2 team claimed the KABB Cup win with a comfortable 68-43 win over keen local rivals Tralee Tigers.

Unfortunately and despite the very best of efforts, our Senior Men were edged out in the Mens Div 1 Cup final by St. Mary’s going down by just four points 76-72 in a top class final that went right down to the wire.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches across all our teams and in particular our Academy Boys, our U16 Div and Div 3 teams and our Senior Div 2 Men. St. Brendan’s teams reached seven KABB Cup finals and claimed four of the Cups on offer.
With League titles still to be decided we are more than hopeful that our silverware collection for the 2017/2018 will be significantly enhanced. Good luck to all our teams in the remaining games in the respective Leagues.
