Our U12A were at the wrong side of a 3 – 1 scoreline in Christy Leahy Park, Having dominated the first half but were unable to find a way past a very solid Athletic back line. Two quick goals were conceded just after half time made it an uphill task.
We did manage to get it back to 2-1 with Bruno Browzy putting the ball in Athletic’s net and almost levelled the game when Seamus Kelly had his shot saved all by the feet of the Athletic keeper. Soon after that Athletic forced a corner and an own goal finished the game as a contest. Best for us were Immanuel Manu Ciarian Kavanagh with MOTM going to Eldon Topalli
