Pat Beale was the lucky winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot of €3400 on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 04, 09, 23 & 28. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Bridget Boyle Derrymore West, Anne and Johnny c/o Betty’s Bar, Laila Counihan Curraheen, Maurice Long c/o Poff Motors and Brian Murphy Curragraigue.

Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €2000 and the draw will take place on Sunday night January 12th in O’Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Shea’s Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quane’s, Betty’s Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.

Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle 2020

Calling all cyclists, dust down the bikes as the Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle takes place Saturday, January 11th at 11:00am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blennerville.

The cycle will travel to Castleisland town centre and home followed by deserved refreshments, tea and coffee in Quanes Bar Blennerville. Enquiries to Maurice Hanafin @ (087)2998206 and George Poff @ (087)6814799.

Unfortunately due to the provision of Insurance and Ambulance services, a fee of €7 per person to a maximum of €20 per family will be charged on the day.

Registration will commence from 10:00am. See you there. This is a nonprofit fun cycle led by various pace cars.

The celebrations will continue on Saturday night with anniversary Mass in Curraheen at 7:30pm, a music session in Quanes Bar, where food & refreshments will be served. Keep the date free & come out to celebrate the memory of local man, Jimmy Duffy. All are welcome.

Congratulations to John Fizzy Fitzgerald and Caitriona Keane who got married last weekend. We wish them many years of happiness.

Operation Transformation Comes to St Pats

In conjunction with Operation Transformation & Get Ireland Walking, we will be hosting a series of community walks under lights over the next 8 Tuesday evenings.

The first walk commences this Tuesday January 7th at 6:30pm Sharp. It is a free event and is open to everyone in the wider community of all abilities and ages. The walk is just under 5km; beginning and finishing at our club grounds. See the route map attached. Every walker must register for the event. Registration will take place in the dressing rooms from 6:10pm. All participants MUST wear high visibility jackets or clothing. You can attend the walks at any stage over the course of the eight week program.

Juvenile Academy 

The St Pat’s 2020 Juvenile Academy starts on Sunday January 19th at the Kerry Sports Academy Hall in the North Campus of IT Tralee. Training will take place from 10-11am. This is for all boys and girls from 4 years of age up to 10. We welcome back all our players from last season but we would also like any boys and girls living in the Tralee area to come and try it out. The cost is €2 per child and a max of €5 per family. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

St Pats GAA club, Blennerville offers a state of the art, floodlit astro pitch available to everyone to rent. This pitch is supported by our clubhouse with changing rooms, shower facilities and ample parking spaces.
