Registration

For 2021 the GAA introduced a new Games Management System, called Foireann, which is Irish for Team.

The initial features of the system for Clubs and Members  were limited to self-service registration, payment of Club membership for individuals and families and the ability to complete Health Questionnaires as required by the ‘Return to Play’ protocol.

By setting up and adopting the available features of Foireann the Club now had a one-stop shop for managing Club membership and was able to retire the use of Clubforce and Servasport for managing membership.

Overall the system proved very effective for members to register and pay membership contributions.

One significant change in Foireann is the ability for clubs like St Pat’s with GAA and LGFA teams to operate as One Club on the system.  This allows for all membership registrations to be completed from one place, rather than from two separate systems.

Further modifications have been added to the system during the year and our Club registrar, Sean, will have all available features activated to facilitate membership registration for 2022.

The meeting agreed to retain the membership fees for the coming year at the same level as for 2021 which means that the Club membership rates have not increased since 2019. The membership rates are available to view via the Club website www.stpatsgaaclub.com.
