Juvenile Academy

We had great support from all the parents of our Academy kids on Sunday morning. A walk was organised after training, to show our support to our friend and neighbour Mary Gardiner who is currently completing her 100k in 30days challenge for Breast Cancer Ireland. Thanks to all who donated so generously. We wish Mary every success in her fundraising for Breast Cancer Ireland and wish her the very best in her own journey of returning to full health very soon from everyone in St Pats. U5

Well done to all the Under 5 boys and girls that took part in training this weekend. Ball handling skills are improving every week. We finished the session with a mini match before taking to the big field to complete a lap in pink. Well done to our players of the week Ella and Brandon.

U7

We had a super morning for our u7 training… after our warmup we worked on our solo and hand passing drills, before finishing with two very competitive games. Keep up the practice at home.

U8 Girls/U10 Girls

Well done to our joined-up group of under 8s & 10 girls this morning. we took advantage of mixing the girls up to have two matches with lots of time on the ball for all the girls. The skills are coming on well & the girls are practicing the one hop one solo rule for competitive matches. Looking forward to more training next Sunday morning in St Pats.

U11

A very well done to the 21 boys who played their part in two great exciting close games in Castleisland last Thursday. We will have training on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Blennerville for those players who can attend. Our next two games are at home to Beale and Finuge and are provisionally fixed for Thursday 23rd and Thursday week respectively.

U12 Girls

The girls played away to Abbeydorney in round 6 of the county league on Tuesday evening. Well done on another great performance by the girls. They all gave another fantastic display coming away with a well-deserved win. We will be playing away to Ballyduff in the last round Tuesday 21st at 7.40pm.

Well done to Aisling O Mahoney who was this week’s well-deserved footballer of the week. Aisling has played fantastic in every game throughout this season and is showing dramatic improvements game after game. When it comes to training Aisling gives it 100% and never gives up.

U13

We had a very good training session last Wednesday in anticipation of a game on Sunday 19th. However, the game didn’t go ahead due to a change in the fixtures that got lost in communication. As we had gathered for the planned home game, we had a light training session instead. We are hoping to have the fixture rescheduled. Training continues as usual on Wednesday evening.

U15

Best of luck to our U 15s who begin the phase 2 competition on Wednesday next with a home game v Castleisland Desmond’s.
