Lotto:
There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last.
The numbers drawn were 12,13, 18 & 25.
The five €30 consolation prizes went to Helen Foley Blennerville, Joan O’Hara c/o Poff Motors, Colette Savage Annagh , Niall Ryle The Spa and Caitlin O’Grady Tonavane.
Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €4,500 and the draw will take place this Sunday night January 31st in Skelper Quane’s Bar.
Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any club officer.
Senior Team
Our seniors commenced training for the 2016 season last Saturday. This year, the team is under the watchful eye of joint managers Joe Costello & Tim Moynihan.
They will ably be assisted by selectors Jimmy Mulligan & Adrian Greaney who will also be a player in the squad. Coach Padraig Murphy completes the management team. We wish them the best of luck for the year ahead.
The senior’s first game is scheduled for this Sunday at home to Ardfert at 2pm. At the time of this note going to print, no venue had been arranged as our pitch is currently unplayable.

The county league fixtures were also released over the weekend. Our first game is at home to Beale on Sunday March 20th. We are away to Currow a week later and away to Keel on April 10th.
The first round of the Junior Championship is scheduled for the weekend of April 16/17th. The format is different this year with both Junior & Novice teams in the same competition for the first round. All first round winners will enter the Junior Premier Championship which is the Junior Championship as we know it.
The losers will enter the Junior Championship which was formerly known as the Novice Championship. The draw was due to be made last Monday night so we will have it in next week’s notes.
Medal Presentation
A medal presentation to last year’s Minor & Junior County League winning teams along with the Seniors who won the St Brendan’s Championship will take place this Friday night at Benners Hotel at 9:30pm.
Juvenile Academy
U6’s: we had another great turnout in our juvenile academy training last Sunday. A huge welcome to our newcomers Thomas colivet, Isaac Price , James O’ Riordan , Cian o’ Halloran, Tommy and Hugh Costelloe Riah and Noah Flynn.
Hope to see you all again next Sunday.
U10’s: Our U10 boys and girls were in academy action last Sunday. We had a good turnout for training in the Pres. hall. Everyone put in a great effort practicing and improving their skills during the session. It is important that you all practice your skills at home during the week. We hope to see ye all at training this Sunday at 11 am in Presentation hall, Moyderwell.
U12’s/U14’s:
Training continues on Friday from 6.30 to 7.30 on our astro turf.
U16’s:
Training continues on Friday from 5.30 to 6.30 on our astro turf.
Girls:
Training continues on Sat next at 3pm in Presentation Hall, targeting various Community games competitions ie Indoor & Outdoor Soccer,Futsall, Gaelic Football (Girls & Mixed)etc.

International Children’s Games
Congratulations to St Pats star Fergal O’Brien who has been selected to compete in the International Children’s Games in Taiwan in July 2016.
Fergal will compete in the 100m sprint and relay events. He will be amongst 1500 athletes from around the globe, 23 of which are from Tralee. The Tonavane speedster is a versatile, talented and dedicated young man and everyone in St Pats is wishing him the very best in his training schedule to prepare for the games. Usain Bolt watch out !!

Blennerville Community Playschool:
The playschool has now relocated to the new primary school in Blennerville and there are some places currently available. If interested in enrolling, contact Marlene on 0870564023.
