St Pats GAA’s Dingle Way Challenge Takes Place This Sunday

Members of St Pats GAA joined by former Kerry player and manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice for the launch of the Dingle Way Challenge at Camp beach last month.

ST Pats GAA Club in Blennerville is ready for another Dingle Way Challenge which takes place on this Sunday, June 4.

There has been huge interest in this event in previous years and the club is expecting many walkers to take part on Sunday.

The route this year takes in beautiful scenery around West Kerry, with walkers taking in Sauce Creek and following the route to Brandon Point, enjoying the incredible views of Tralee Bay, Loop Head, The Seven Hogs & the Maharees Islands, the sandy beaches of Lower West Kerry and Fermoyle Beach.

There were will be music, BBQ and great atmosphere in Blennerville after the event. Each participant will receive a medal on completion of the trek.

There are different options so the causal walker and the seasoned trekker is catered for. The Ultra Route is Brandon Creek to Fitzgerald’s Bar, Camp 48Km and the Regular Route is Brandon Point to Fitzgerald’s Bar, Camp 32Km.
